(1) The Director of Public Health, by notice in the Gazette , may require the proprietor of any food business or class of food businesses to register the food business.(1A) The registration of a food business or class of food businesses must be done in accordance with an approved risk-classification system for types of food businesses.(2) A person must comply with a requirement under subsection (1) .Penalty: In the case of (a) an individual, a fine not exceeding 500 penalty units; or(b) a body corporate, a fine not exceeding 1 200 penalty units.
