(1) If a complaint is referred to the Commissioner of Police under section 38(1)(e) , the chief executive officer is to notify the Commissioner of Police in writing that the chief executive officer is to be informed of the outcome of the investigation including any action taken, or to be taken, by the Commissioner of Police.(2) The chief executive officer may also (a) require the Commissioner of Police to provide progress reports on the investigation at such times as the chief executive officer considers necessary; or(b) monitor the investigation; or(c) audit the investigation after it has been completed.
