(1)  Subject to subsection (2) , a licence issued in respect of the growing or cultivating of a prohibited plant under Part V of the Poisons Act 1971 , and in force immediately before the commencement of this Act, continues in force for 5 years from the date of issue of the licence as if it were a licence issued under this Act.

(2)  The Secretary may vary the terms and conditions of a licence referred to in subsection (1) as if it were a licence issued under this Act.
