A person must not supply primary produce for human consumption that the person knows or reasonably suspects is unsafe for human consumption.

Penalty:  In the case of –

(a) a body corporate, a fine not exceeding 5 000 penalty units; or

(b) an individual, a fine not exceeding 1 000 penalty units or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years, or both.
