MAGISTRATES COURT (CIVIL DIVISION) RULES 1998 - REG 78

Order by consent
(1)  If a party or practitioner acting on behalf of a party files a consent in writing to the making of an order, the Court or a registrar may make an order –
(a) in the terms of the consent; and
(b) in the absence of the parties.
(2)  Subrule (1) does not apply to an order –
(a) to adjourn the trial of an action; or
(b) to extend or otherwise affect or modify any time limit fixed by –
(i) these rules; or
(ii) an order made under these rules; or
(iii) a practice direction; or
(c) in the course of proceedings to which an originating application relates.
(3)  An order under subrule (1) is to be in an approved form.
