(1) If a party or practitioner acting on behalf of a party files a consent in writing to the making of an order, the Court or a registrar may make an order (a) in the terms of the consent; and(b) in the absence of the parties.(2) Subrule (1) does not apply to an order (a) to adjourn the trial of an action; or(b) to extend or otherwise affect or modify any time limit fixed by (i) these rules; or(ii) an order made under these rules; or(iii) a practice direction; or(c) in the course of proceedings to which an originating application relates.(3) An order under subrule (1) is to be in an approved form.
