(1) An originating application which requires an appearance and is served within the State is to be served at least 9 clear days before the hearing date.(2) An originating application which does not require an appearance and is served within the State is to be served at least 2 clear days before the hearing date.(3) An originating application which is served outside the State is to be served the number of days before the hearing date that is 2 days more than the period limited for the entry of an appearance under rule 99 in respect of the place at which the application is served.
