(1) A practitioner whose name is endorsed on any originating process, on demand in writing made by or on behalf of any person who has been served with the process or has appeared to it, is to declare in writing whether the process has been issued by, or with the authority of, that practitioner.(2) If a practitioner declares that an originating process was not so issued (a) all proceedings relating to the process are to be stayed; and(b) further proceedings are not to be taken without leave of the Court or a judge.(3) If a practitioner declares that an originating process was so issued, the Court or a judge, on the application of a defendant or respondent, may order that the practitioner declare in writing, within a specified period, the profession, occupation and place of abode of the plaintiff or applicant.
