(1) A judge may order that judgment be entered in terms consented to by each party to a proceeding.(2) If the judge considers that an application for judgment by consent ought to be dealt with in open court, the judge is to adjourn into Court and order that the judgment be entered.(3) Unless satisfied that it is proper to make an order that judgment be entered by consent, the Court or judge is not to make the order if it (a) affects the interests of a person under disability; or(b) requires the exercise of a discretion by reference to matters other than those personal to the parties.(4) A judgment entered by consent under this rule is to be in accordance with the prescribed form.
