(1)  An order for relief similar to mandamus is returnable immediately or within a period the Court or a judge allows, either with or without terms.

(2)  In the absence of any order of the Court or a judge as to when the order for relief is returnable, it is returnable within the same period after service as is allowed for appearance to a writ.
