Unless the Court or a judge otherwise orders, the settlor and any other person who provided property for the purposes of a trust to which an application under section 6 or 13 of the Variation of Trusts Act 1994 relates are to be joined as respondents if they –

(a) are alive; and

(b) are not an applicant.
