(1) A writ of execution may be executed by a bailiff or other similar officer of an inferior court in the same manner as it may be executed by the Sheriff.(2) A person executing a writ under subrule (1) (a) is taken to be an officer of the Court and of the Sheriff; and(b) is subject to the order and direction of the Court or a judge; and(c) for the purpose of performing the duties of office, has the same powers, authorities and immunities, and is subject to the same liabilities, as the Sheriff.
