SUPREME COURT RULES 2000 - REG 939

Appointment
On the hearing of an application for the appointment of a receiver by way of equitable execution, the Court or judge, in determining whether an order ought to be made –
(a) is to have regard to the following:
(i) the amount claimed by the judgment creditor;
(ii) the amount likely to be obtained by the receiver;
(iii) the probable costs of the appointment; and
(b) may direct inquiries on the matters referred to in paragraph (a) or any other matters before determining the application.
