(1)  The repeal of the Fair Trading (Code of Practice for Motor Vehicle Traders) Regulations 1996 that, but for this section, would have been effected on 1 January 2011 is postponed until 1 January 2012.

(2)  Subsection (1) does not prevent the Fair Trading (Code of Practice for Motor Vehicle Traders) Regulations 1996 from being repealed or rescinded before 1 January 2012 by or under another Act.
