(1) A biosecurity auditor must prepare a written report about each biosecurity audit performed by the biosecurity auditor.(2) A copy of the report must be submitted in accordance with subsection (3) (a) to the person who required the audit to be performed; and(b) to the audit target.(3) A copy of a report submitted under subsection (2) must be submitted (a) within 21 days after completion of the biosecurity audit; or(b) if another period is prescribed by the regulations, within the prescribed period.(4) A report under this section must include the following information:(a) whether or not the audit target is complying, and capable of complying, with this Act;(b) if the biosecurity auditor believes that the audit target is not complying with, or not capable of complying with, this Act, the reasons for that belief;(c) if the biosecurity audit indicates contraventions of this Act or other deficiencies (i) the nature of those contraventions or other deficiencies; and(ii) the actions that are required to remedy those contraventions or deficiencies;(d) if a previous biosecurity audit has indicated contraventions or other deficiencies, the actions (if any) that have been taken to remedy those contraventions or other deficiencies;(e) such other matters as are prescribed.(5) A biosecurity auditor must provide a copy of a report prepared under this section to the Secretary if directed to do so by the Secretary.
