(1) A relevant officer who gives an individual biosecurity direction in an emergency may direct a person to do any of the following:(a) to permit the officer to inspect the person for biosecurity matter, a carrier or potential carrier;(b) to permit the officer to inspect any thing in the persons possession, care, custody or control for biosecurity matter, a carrier or a potential carrier;(c) to carry out or permit an external treatment measure to be carried out in relation to that person;(d) to carry out a treatment or permit a treatment to be carried out in relation to any thing in the persons possession, care, custody or control.(2) This section is in addition to, and does not limit, any other functions of an authorised officer under this Act.
