(1) A person who has given a biosecurity undertaking may, at any time, with the written agreement of an authorised officer (a) withdraw the undertaking; or(b) vary the undertaking.(2) An authorised officer may, at any time (a) withdraw an authorised officers acceptance of a biosecurity undertaking, by written notice served on the person who gave the undertaking; or(b) vary a biosecurity undertaking (but only with the written agreement of the person who gave the undertaking).(3) The provisions of a biosecurity undertaking may not be varied to provide for a different alleged contravention.(4) A biosecurity undertaking ceases to have effect if (a) it is withdrawn by the person who made it (in accordance with this section); or(b) acceptance of the undertaking is withdrawn by an authorised officer.
