BIOSECURITY ACT 2019 (NO. 22 OF 2019) - SECT 237
Presumption of state of mind
(1) In any proceedings for an offence under this Act, except where the
contrary intention appears, it is not necessary for the prosecution to prove
any intention, or state of mind, to establish that the offence has been
committed.
(2) Unless otherwise prescribed, subsection (1) does not apply in
respect of an offence contained within the regulations.
