(1)  A person given an individual biosecurity direction may appeal to the Appeal Tribunal against –

(a) the biosecurity direction; or

(b) any requirement in the biosecurity direction.

(2)  Despite subsection (1) , no right of appeal lies against –

(a) a general biosecurity direction; or

(b) an emergency biosecurity direction.
