(1) An authorised officer may require a person to answer questions in relation to a matter under this Act if the authorised officer reasonably believes that the person may have knowledge in respect of that matter.(2) An authorised officer may require, by written notice, that a person attend at the time and place specified in the notice in order to answer questions in relation to a matter of which the authorised officer reasonably believes that the person may have knowledge.(3) If a time and place specified in a notice under subsection (2) is not reasonable in the circumstances, the authorised officer is to nominate a time and place after taking into account any request of the person who is the subject of the notice.(4) A person who is the subject of a requirement made under this section must comply with that requirement.Penalty: In the case of (a) a body corporate, a fine not exceeding 2 500 penalty units; or(b) an individual, a fine not exceeding 500 penalty units.
