After section 280 of the Principal Act , the following section is inserted in Division 1:280A. Appeals relating to reporting authority
(1) A reporting authority who provided a required report in respect of a certificate of likely compliance may appeal to the appeal tribunal, in relation to any matter raised in its report, against (a) the decision of the building surveyor to issue the certificate of likely compliance; or(b) any condition imposed on the certificate of likely compliance other than a condition that must be imposed on the certificate of likely compliance under this Act.(2) A reporting authority who provided a required report in respect of an occupancy permit may appeal to the appeal tribunal, in relation to any matter raised in its report, against (a) the decision of the building surveyor to issue the permit; or(b) any condition imposed on the permit other than a condition that must be imposed on the permit under this Act.
