Section 3 of the Principal Act is amended as follows:

(a) by omitting the definition of authorized officer and substituting the following definition:

authorized officer means a police officer, a ranger within the meaning of the National Parks and Reserves Management Act 2002 or a person appointed as an authorized officer under section 11 ;

(b) by omitting "section" from paragraph (b) of the definition of Management Plan and substituting "section, or under the National Parks and Reserves Management Act 2002 ," .
