CHIROPRACTORS AND OSTEOPATHS REGISTRATION ACT 1997 (NO. 48 OF 1997) - SECT 19

Who may apply for registration?
(1)  A person may apply to the Board to be registered as a chiropractor if –
(a) the person has a qualification that is approved by, or obtained from an institution that is accredited by, a prescribed national chiropractic body or forum; or
(b) the person has passed a qualifying examination in chiropractic held by that national chiropractic body or forum.
(2)  A person may apply to the Board to be registered as an osteopath if –
(a) the person has a qualification that is approved by, or obtained from an institution that is accredited by, a prescribed national osteopathic body or forum; or
(b) the person has passed a qualifying examination in osteopathy held by that national osteopathic body or forum.
