CHIROPRACTORS AND OSTEOPATHS REGISTRATION ACT 1997 (NO. 48 OF 1997) - SECT 42
Complaints procedure
(1) A complaint is to (a) be made in writing; and
(b)
contain particulars of the matter complained of; and
(c) identify the
registered practitioner against whom the complaint is being made; and
(d)
identify the person making the complaint; and
(e) be lodged with the
Registrar.
(2) The Registrar must ensure that a person who wishes to make a
complaint is given such reasonable assistance as is necessary to enable the
person to make the complaint in accordance with this section.
(3) On receipt of a complaint, the Registrar must (a) make a
record of the date on which the complaint was received; and
(b) place the
complaint before the Board without undue delay.
(4) The Board may require the complainant to provide further particulars
of the complaint.
