Section 75 of the Principal Act is amended as follows:

(a) by omitting "is" ;

(b) by omitting paragraphs (a) and (b) and substituting the following paragraphs:

(a) is qualified under the Constitution Act 1934 to be elected; and

(b) is not ineligible under section 76 ; and

(c) has attained the age of 18 years.
