Section 2 of the Principal Act is amended as follows:

(a) by omitting subsection (1) and substituting the following subsection:

(1)  Section 8 commences on the day on which Part 3 of the Education Amendment Act 2017 commences or is taken to have commenced.

(b) by omitting subsections (3) , (4) , (5) , (6) , (7) , (8) and (9) .
