(1) The Academy, subject to this section, may impose, as it considers appropriate (a) fees and charges in respect of the provision of post-Year 10 education; and(b) levies in respect of incidental costs and expenses incurred in providing post-Year 10 education; and(c) fees and charges in respect of other goods and services it provides.(2) The Academy is not entitled to impose for a year, or part of a year, a fee or charge in respect of the provision of post-Year 10 education referred to in subsection (1)(a) to a student who (a) is entitled under section 47B(2) of the Education Act 1994 to attend the Academy in that year; and(b) has not attained the age of 19 years before 1 January in that year; and(c) is not an overseas student.(3) The Academy may exempt a person, or a class of persons, from the obligation to pay all or part of any fee, levy or charge that would otherwise be payable.
