(1) It is unlawful for a political donation, to a registered party or an Assembly Member who is endorsed by a registered party, to be accepted unless (a) if the political donation is money the money is paid to the party agent in relation to the registered party and is paid by the party agent into the campaign account of the registered party; or(b) if the political donation is not money the political donation is accepted by the party agent in relation to the registered party.(2) It is unlawful for a political donation, to an Assembly candidate, in relation to an election, who is endorsed by a registered party, to be accepted unless (a) the candidate is registered under this Act in the Register of Candidates in relation to the election; and(b) if (i) the political donation is money the money is paid to the party agent in relation to the registered party and is paid by the party agent into the campaign account of the registered party; or(ii) the political donation is not money the political donation is accepted by the party agent in relation to the registered party.
