(1) A standard is a relevant standard for an electrical article to which this Part applies if (a) it is a standard stated in the relevant Australian Standard to be a standard applicable to an electrical article of the relevant type or a standard accepted by the Regulator instead of such a standard; or(b) if there is no standard applicable under paragraph (a) , a standard determined by the Regulator to be a relevant standard for articles of the relevant type.(2) The Regulator may, by notice in the Gazette (a) determine that a particular standard is the relevant standard for electrical articles of a specified type; or(b) vary or revoke a previous declaration under this section.
