(1) The State Committee is to prepare a plan for emergency management in Tasmania.(2) The State Committee is to submit the plan to the Minister for approval.(3) When a plan is submitted to him or her, the Minister may (a) approve the plan; or(b) require the plan to be amended and then resubmitted for approval under this subsection.(4) The Tasmanian Emergency Management Plan is to (a) provide the broad policies for emergency management in Tasmania; and(b) provide details of the arrangements and responsibilities for the governance and coordination of emergency management.(5) The State Committee is to review the Tasmanian Emergency Management Plan at least once every 2 years.(6) At any time, the State Committee may submit to the Minister any suggested amendments to the Tasmanian Emergency Management Plan or a substitute plan.(7) On the submission to him or her of any suggested amendments or a substitute plan, the Minister may approve or reject the amendments to, or the substitution of, the Tasmanian Emergency Management Plan.
