If a state of emergency is declared (a) the State Controller and the Regional Controller of a region affected by the declaration are to implement emergency management in accordance with any relevant emergency management plan and as he or she otherwise considers appropriate; and(b) subject to any directions given by the Premier, Minister or State Controller, if a region is affected by the declaration the Regional Controller is to (i) take the action required by any relevant emergency management plan and as he or she otherwise considers appropriate; and(ii) take immediate action to use, direct and coordinate all available resources so as to counter the effects or the likely effects of the emergency; and(c) if a municipal area is affected by the declaration, the Municipal Coordinator is to advise and assist the Regional Controller with respect to emergency management in the municipal area.
