A person summoned to attend for jury service who knows that he or she is disqualified from jury service or is ineligible for jury service must inform the Sheriff as soon as practicable –

(a) of that fact; and

(b) of the reason for the disqualification or ineligibility.

Penalty:  Fine not exceeding 30 penalty units.
