Section 48

Acts Interpretation Act 1931

1.    Section 23B(2) is amended by omitting "information in the nature of quo warranto " and substituting "an order of review made under the Judicial Review Act 2000 " .

Associations Incorporation Act 1964

1.    Section 35(3) is amended by omitting "prohibition, mandamus, certiorari " and substituting "an order of review under the Judicial Review Act 2000 " .

Electoral Act 1985

1.    Section 65(5) is amended by omitting "prohibition, mandamus , certiorari " and substituting "an order of review under the Judicial Review Act 2000 " .

Justices Act 1959

1.    Section 110(2)(h) is amended by omitting " certiorari , mandamus , prohibition, or habeas corpus " and substituting " habeas corpus or an order of review under the Judicial Review Act 2000 " .

2.    Division 4 of Part XI is amended by omitting " Proceeding in lieu of mandamus " from the heading to that Division and substituting " Rule to show cause " .

Land Valuation Act 1971

1.    Section 39(2) is amended by omitting "a writ of certiorari " and substituting "an order of review under the Judicial Review Act 2000 " .

Legislative Council Electoral Boundaries Act 1995

1.    Section 28(1)(c) is amended by omitting "mandamus, prohibition, certiorari or injunction" and substituting "an order of review under the Judicial Review Act 2000 " .

Magistrates Court (Civil Division) Act 1992

1.    Section 29 is amended by omitting paragraph (a) and substituting the following paragraph:

(a) an order of review is not to be made under the Judicial Review Act 2000 ; or

Magistrates Court (Small Claims Division) Act 1989

1.    Section 32(1) is amended by omitting paragraph (a) and substituting the following paragraph:

(a) order of review may be made under the Judicial Review Act 2000 ; or

Ombudsman Act 1978

1.    Section 33 is amended by omitting subsection (3) and substituting the following subsection:

(3)  An injunction is not to be issued, and an order of review is not to be made under the Judicial Review Act 2000 , restraining the Ombudsman from carrying out, or compelling the Ombudsman to carry out, any investigation under this or any other Act.

Parliamentary Salaries, Superannuation and Allowances Act 1973

1.    Section 4B is amended by omitting "prohibition, mandamus, certiorari" and substituting "an order of review under the Judicial Review Act 2000 " .

2.    Schedule 1 is amended by omitting "prohibition, mandamus, certiorari" from clause 11 of Part IV and substituting "an order of review under the Judicial Review Act 2000 " .

Registration of Births and Deaths Act 1895

1.    Section 36J(6) is amended by omitting "prohibition, mandamus , certiorari " and substituting "an order of review under the Judicial Review Act 2000 " .

Sentencing Act 1997

1.    Section 98(4) is amended by omitting "a writ of mandamus " and substituting "an order of review under the Judicial Review Act 2000 " .

State Policies and Projects Act 1993

1.    Section 28(1) is amended by omitting paragraph (c) and substituting the following paragraph:

(c) no order of review may be made under the Judicial Review Act 2000 ; or

Supreme Court Civil Procedure Act 1932

1.    Section 9 is amended as follows:

(a) by omitting subsection (3) ;

(b) by omitting from subsection (4) "any writ of certiorari , writ of prohibition, writ of mandamus , or" and substituting "an order of review under the Judicial Review Act 2000 or a" .

2.    Section 11(12) is amended by omitting "A mandamus or an" and substituting "An" .

3.    Section 12(1) is amended by omitting "any writ of certiorari , habeas corpus , mandamus , or prohibition, and an action of scire facias , and any information in the nature of a quo warranto ," and substituting "an order of review under the Judicial Review Act 2000 or a writ of habeas corpus " .

4.    Section 40(1) is amended by omitting ", any writ of certiorari , habeas corpus , prohibition, or mandamus , and any action of scire facias , and any information in the nature of a quo warranto " and substituting "an order of review under the Judicial Review Act 2000 or a writ of habeas corpus " .

5.    Part VII is repealed.

6.    Section 197(1)(f) is amended as follows:

(a) by omitting subparagraph (iii) and substituting the following subparagraph:

(iii) an order of review under the Judicial Review Act 2000 ;

(b) by omitting from subparagraph (iv) "or for a mandamus " .

Wellington Park Act 1993

1.    Section 47(1) is amended by omitting paragraph (c) and substituting the following paragraph:

(c) no order of review may be made under the Judicial Review Act 2000 ; or
