If a transferred employee was employed by the former employer on the day immediately before the employee transfer date for the employee, the period of time for which a transferred employee was continuously employed by the former employer before that date is taken to form part of the transferred employee’s continuous employment for the purpose of calculating leave or other entitlements, in respect of the employee, under this Act or the State Service Act 2000 .
