(1) As soon as practicable after being notified of a decision of the Minister under section 10(4)(a) , or being required under section 11(5) to record details of a naming action, in respect of a place, the Registrar (a) is to insert an entry, or amend an entry, in the register in respect of the place to reflect the decision of the Minister or the naming action; and(b) in relation to a decision of the Minister under section 10(4)(a) , may cause a notice to be published in the Gazette specifying the details of the decision.(2) A name is the approved name for a place once (a) the register is amended in accordance with subsection (1)(a) to record the name as the approved name for the place; and(b) the register, so amended, is made available to members of the public in accordance with section 8(4)(b) .
