(1) The Commission, by notice in writing given to a person specified in subsection (2) , may require that person to supply the Commission with any information relating to the operation of the service provided under the authority of a licence referred to in subsection (2) , or the use of such a licence, that the Commission requires for the effective administration of this Act.(2) For the purposes of subsection (1) , the following persons are specified:(a) the owner of a perpetual taxi licence;(b) the responsible operator of a perpetual taxi licence;(c) the holder of an owner-operator taxi licence;(d) the holder of a wheelchair-accessible taxi licence;(e) the holder of a luxury hire car licence;(f) the holder of a temporary taxi licence.(3) A person to whom a request has been made under subsection (1) must supply the information in writing to the Commission within the time specified by the Commission.Penalty: Fine not exceeding 50 penalty units.
