After regulation 5A of the Principal Regulations , the following regulation is inserted in Part 2:5B. Vaccination of domestic fowls
(1) A person who owns more than 1 000 fowls must vaccinate the fowls against Newcastle disease.Penalty: Fine not exceeding 50 penalty units and, in the case of a continuing offence, a further fine not exceeding 1 penalty unit for each day during which the offence continues.(2) The vaccination must be conducted in a manner determined by the Chief Veterinary Officer.(3) In this regulation fowl means a domesticated fowl of the genus Gallus .
