EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation)

These regulations prescribe, for the purposes of the Ambulance Service Act 1982 –

(a) the minimum standards and requirements for NEPT Services and NEPT licensees under that Act; and
(b) offences relating to non-emergency patient transport services for which an infringement notice may be issued under that Act and the penalties for such infringement notices.
