A person who owns or operates a livestock-handling facility must ensure that the facility (a) is suitable for the type of livestock to be handled at the facility; and(b) has effective and appropriate airflow for the type of livestock handled at the facility; and(c) has a surface of flooring that minimises the likelihood of injury to the livestock from slipping or falling; and(d) is free from any defect that may cause injury to the livestock; and(e) has sufficient vertical clearance immediately above the livestock to minimise the risk of injury to the livestock.Penalty: In the case of (a) a body corporate, a fine not exceeding 100 penalty units; and(b) an individual, a fine not exceeding 50 penalty units.
