EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation)

These regulations make provision for the following matters under the Building Act 2000 relating to building:

(a) restrictions on buildings;

(b) matters relating to building permits;

(c) requirements to perform building work;

(d) inspection and enforcement in relation to building work;

(e) occupancy requirements;

(f) maintenance of certain features;

(g) other miscellaneous matters.
