Before rule 13 of the Principal Rules , the following rule is inserted in Part 4:12A. Order that status conference be held
(1) A Crown counsel or the accused person may apply to a judge for an order that a status conference be held.(2) After hearing the application, the judge may order that a status conference be held (a) on a day and at a time specified in the order; and(b) before a specified judge.(3) A judge may order that a status conference be held without an application being made.
