A person must not conduct, or permit to be conducted, a cremation of the remains of a deceased person –

(a) except in a crematory erected on a site approved by the Minister under Part 2 ; and

(b) unless a cremation permit is issued.

Penalty:  Fine not exceeding 5 penalty units.
