In section 52(2) of the Children, Young Persons and Their Families (Transitional and Savings Provisions) Act 1998 , a reference to the term of an order referred to in section 52(1) of that Act includes a reference to the period during which, by reason of section 10(2A) of the Child Protection Act 1974 , the order would have continued in effect had the Child Protection Act 1974 not been repealed.
