(1)  This Part applies to –

(a) the transport of a placard load; and

(b) the transport of a load of dangerous goods that is not a placard load if the load contains dangerous goods of  Division 2.3, UN Class 6 or UN Class 8, or dangerous goods that have a subsidiary risk of 6.1 or 8, that are being, or are to be, transported with food or food packaging.

(2)  Dangerous goods packed in limited quantities do not need to comply with this Part.
