The following terms and conditions are prescribed as the terms and conditions on which a bailiff is to conduct a public auction for the purposes of section 8(2) of the Act:

(a) a notice of the auction, stating the time, date and place of the auction and the kind of goods to be auctioned, is to be posted, in a prominent place at every courthouse and police station within the municipality in which the auction is to take place, at least 10 days before the date of the auction;

(b) in the case of a motor vehicle, a notice is to be published, once in a newspaper circulating in that municipality stating the time, date and place of the auction and giving a full description of the motor vehicle to be auctioned, not more than 10 days, and not less than 7 days, before the date of the auction.
