(1) This regulation does not apply in relation to a small storage system.(2) A system operator of a storage system must not allow the storage system to be in use unless a loss-monitoring procedure is carried out in respect of the system.Penalty: Fine not exceeding 100 penalty units.(3) A system operator of a storage system to which subregulation (2) applies must ensure that a system operator of the storage system, at least once each month (a) provides, to a person carrying out a loss-monitoring procedure in respect of the storage system, data of a suitable standard such that the person can produce a conclusive result as to whether the storage system is providing full and continuous containment; and(b) receives the results of a loss-monitoring procedure carried out in respect of the system.Penalty: Fine not exceeding 100 penalty units.
