HEALTH (FEES) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 2012 (S.R. 2012, NO. 48) - REG 6

Schedule 1 amended (Fees payable by non-nursing-home-type patients)

Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:
(a) by omitting Part 1 and substituting the following Part:

For a person receiving a diagnostic imaging service specified in the diagnostic imaging services table

the fee specified in that table for that service (in addition to any fee payable under item 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 of this Part)

(b) by omitting "$86" from column 3 of item 1 in Part 2 and substituting "87" ;
(c) by omitting "$86" from column 3 of item 2 in Part 2 and substituting "87" ;
(d) by omitting from the heading to Part 2A " SUPPLY OF PHARMACEUTICAL ITEMS IN A PUBLIC HOSPITAL GOVERNED BY AN APPROVED HOSPITAL AUTHORITY " and substituting " SUPPLY OF PHARMACEUTICAL ITEMS " ;
(e) by omitting Part 2B .

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation)

These regulations amend the Health (Fees) Regulations 2007 by –
(a) increasing certain fees payable by or on behalf of non-nursing-home-type patients for hospital services provided to those persons in public hospitals; and
(b) amending the fees payable by or on behalf of non-nursing-home-type patients for pharmaceutical items supplied to those persons in public hospitals.
