(1) For the purposes of paragraph (l) of the definition of dangerous incident in section 37(1) of the Work Health and Safety Act 2012 , the following events are prescribed:(a) an accident or incident involving a mine winder or shaft, including serious mine winder overwind;(b) any of the following events, at a mine, that causes a person to lose consciousness:(i) the application of a physical force to the person;(ii) the exposure of the person to a hazardous chemical;(iii) a lack of oxygen in relation to the person;(c) in relation to a workplace that is a mine, any other event of which the mine operator has been given notice under subregulation (2) .(2) The Chief Inspector of Mines may, by notice to a mine operator, specify an event to be an event that is a dangerous incident for the purposes of paragraph (l) of the definition of dangerous incident in section 37(1) of the Work Health and Safety Act 2012 .
