Schedule 4 to the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:

(a) by inserting the following item after item 23 :

23A.    Darbepoetin alfa.

(b) by inserting the following items after item 28 :

28A.    Epoetin alfa.

28B.    Epoetin beta.

(c) by inserting the following item after item 29 :

29A.    Erythropoietins not elsewhere specified in this Schedule.

These regulations amend the Poisons Regulations 2002 by prescribing registered nurses, who have completed an educational program approved by the Nursing Board of Tasmania and who have been approved by the Board, as a class of persons who may administer vaccines under section 38(1)(i) of the Poisons Act 1971 .
