POISONS AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 2005 (S.R. 2005, NO. 129) - REG 4

Schedule 7 amended (Class 1 substances)
Schedule 7 to the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:
(a) by omitting item 1 and substituting the following items:
1.    Aciclovir.
1A.    Atropine.
1B.    Bacitracin.
(b) by inserting the following items after item 2 :
2A.    Ciprafloxacin.
2B.    Dexamethasone.
2C.    Diclofenac.
(c) by inserting the following item after item 3 :
3A.    Flurbiprofen.
(d) by inserting the following item after item 4 :
4A.    Gentamicin sulfate.
(e) by inserting the following item after item 5 :
5A.    Indomethacin.
(f) by omitting item 9A and substituting the following items:
9A.    Ofloxacin.
9B.    Olopatadine.
(g) by inserting the following item after item 11 :
11A.    Prednisolone.
(h) by inserting the following items after item 13 :
14.    Tobramycin.
15.    Vidarabin.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation)

These regulations amend the Poisons Regulations 2002 by adding certain substances to the list of substances prescribed as class 1 substances for the purposes of section 38(1) of the Poisons Act 1971 .
