(1) An operator must submit to the Minister a proposed revision of an environment plan for a petroleum activity before the commencement of (a) any new petroleum activity not provided for in the environment plan; or(b) any significant modification of, change to, or new stage of, an existing petroleum activity not provided for in the environment plan for that petroleum activity.(2) An operator must submit a proposed revision of an environment plan for a petroleum activity before, or as soon as practicable after (a) a change in the petroleum instrument holder for, or operator of, the petroleum activity to which the environment plan relates; or(b) the occurrence of any significant new environmental impact or risk, or significant increase in an existing environmental impact or risk, not provided for in the environment plan; or(c) the occurrence of a series of new environmental impacts or risks, or a series of increases in existing environmental impacts or risks, that is not provided for in the environment plan and, which, taken together, amount to the occurrence of (i) a significant new environmental impact or risk; or(ii) a significant increase in an existing environmental impact or risk.
